Unimyth part 1 and 2

The popularity and influence of hero myths has been demonstrably strong for millennia, but the earliest cultures and ancient religions in human history have been predominantly matriarchal. The sun has been worshiped as a feminine symbol, and especially older women have had a strong position as community leaders, information carriers and healers. It is proven that women have also acted as hunters and warriors.

The hero’s journey, the so-called monomyth, as such, does not not respond to the massive crises we face today. Instead of the monomyth, we need a feminine journey of descent into the soul and healing. I hope that Unimyth will contribute to this need.
